Case Study
PROJECT OVERVIEW
Client: National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA)
Industry: Government & Military / National Security
Services Provided: Social Media Campaign Design, Content Creation, Copywriting
Timeline: 2 Weeks
Goal: Increase engagement and strengthen the agency’s social media presence by launching a visually compelling Earth Day campaign that highlights NGA’s role in environmental protection and climate change intelligence.
THE CHALLENGE
NGA’s social media content is often perceived as dense, technical, and visually restrained due to the nature of the agency’s mission. This created a barrier to engagement and made it difficult to translate complex geospatial intelligence topics into content that was both accessible and appealing to the public.
THE APPROACH
Audit & Strategy: Reviewed existing posts and audience interactions to identify opportunities for more engaging, mission-tied storytelling.
Creative Direction: Developed a “cut-out collage” theme featuring bold, eye-catching colors that still aligned with NGA’s brand guidelines. The creative direction blended approachability with authority, making climate intelligence feel both urgent and understandable.
Content Design: Created a series of single-post graphics focused on NGA’s environmental and climate-related mission areas, leading up to and culminating on Earth Day.
Scheduling & Execution: Final content was delivered to the
NGA News Team, which managed posting schedules across platforms and ensured alignment with agency timing, policy, and outreach priorities.
THE SOLUTION
Visual Style: Earth-tone palette, paper-cut textures, typographic contour lines, and a grounded layout that reflects both nature and geospatial precision.
Tone of Voice: Informative, clear, mission-focused.
Deliverables:
5 feed posts for Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter
5 Instagram Stories
RESULTS

KEY TAKEAWAY
